Just having a moment...
Sometimes I look around and there are so many dancers out there and I get a little blue and think what could I possibly offer? Are there too many?Ugh, I wanna feel better...
I think I have the stomach flu. Sofia had it, Beorn had it, and now I have it. I skipped class and rehearsal last nght and didn't go into work today- I feel like I've let people down. I hardly ever miss class! I just don't want to get anyone else sick. And I'd like to get better soon so I can start dancing again. Plus I'm on my cycle AND it's a million degrees outside! Waaaaaaaaa!:-/
Beauty!

I really felt we were on today, even though I was a total last minute "throw on lipstick glitter and stick flower in hair and run up on stage" kinda girl. Thank you Politti and Rachel for being such an inspiration and such great teachers :-)What we gonna do next, eh?

Back problems and such...
Hello all! I have been a bit scarce the last few months. Its been killing me. Really. I miss dancing so much! B was out of town for a bit and so I had no built-in babysitter to watch the Sofia-mistress. So, I had to cut out my UT classes down in San Diego. That broke my heart. I was able to pick up some classes with Blue Damsel bluedamsel.org/bluedamsel...mances.html which rocked!!! In fact, I have been doing the show girl/ performance prep class with them. I was a crazy elf for Christmas and now I'll be a China Girl on March 2-3. Racheal Gollub was nice and let me bring Sofia to classes up in Idyllwild once a week as well. Got my ATS on!Anyway, all was looking great as B came back. Then we went out on NYE (see pic) and I danced crazy for 5 hours straight! Yeah, I had a little to drink too. So I guess I pulled a muscle in my back. ::cries:: It totally sucks. The timing is the worst ever. This should've happened 2 months ago when I couldn't go to class anyway. Plus we're BROKE this month. It sucks. And I'm not a very good patient. I keep thinking my back is better and then I fuck it up again. But you can't stop living right? I mean, I'd heal if I could go into a bacta-tank or something.
Anyway, please send me your helaing thoughts and I hope to see my friends and teachers again very soon~
Things aren't going well.
OK guys, I'm not doing so well right now. Family issues and stuff. Just have patience with me and send me love, lot's of it~Come see me dance! :-)
Come on out to Kava Lounge in San Diego (2812 Kettner Blvd., SD, CA 92101) tomorrow night Thursday the 9th. I'd love to have my friends see the show. There'll be lots of dancing and fun by all. I'm doing a little trio with my friends Noel and Jesse and then immediately after a kick ass choreography with the rest of the gals including the creator of the piece Heather Stants! Sweet, eh? Doors open at 8pm show starts at 8:30pm.(Heh heh, tried to show you a flyer for Kava but that pic was all I could get.)
Cthulu needs to release the minions...
Sometimes it's hard having these ideas in my head but not really having the skill (in dance or choreography) yet. I would like to find some like-minded dancers at some point in the future to create some hard edged performances- dark with an android touch :-) Don't get me wrong, I love what I'm doing right now. LOVE IT! But I look around Hemet and there ain't much here. ::sigh:: Ha ha! I have to envision more solos I guess. Groups like Shakra are very popular right now. LOL darn them! So if there's anyone out by me who wants to eventually boogie to Combichrist (a lot), let me know!pic by circle23.com/
Fun in San Diego
Ooooh! Had a date this weekend! Beorn and I drove out to class. Thanks Heather for a great class as always. Then Noel and I rehearsed a bit for our upcoming performance, YIKES! Noel showed us her solo piece- that girl can zill! :-) Zills turn me retarded. Everyone couldn't make lunch, but we'd see them later. Beorn and I tried to find this sushi place but got lost so we settled for Krakatoas. Yeah, there was crack there alright. Some men should just learn to wear the right size pants, ugh! And stop digging fer nugguts in yer nose! GROSS! But the birdies were cute. Then we went to the mall and picked up some foot paws for myself and Noel. We'll try those out in rehearsal this week. Then went to the hotel and wrapped myself in blankets and watched man eatting sharks until my cramps subsided. Then it was party time!!!! Heather and Courage invited us to a cocktail party at the Museum of Art. We hung out and chilled and met Henry of the really cool shirt. Then we dragged the whole gang over to Club Therapy were I learned of my friends' alter egos as clubbing maniacs! Noel was a hottie, although high heels, corsets, and hobble skirts make for difficult dancing- but look good! And Heather used to be a go-go dancer! Ha ha, right on! I shouldn't be surprised, I'm just so used to seeing everyone at class and not out under the strobe lights :-)Well, I closed that place down. They were supposed to shutdown at 2, I think, but he was still playing great music after 2:30. I had my own private dance floor. It rocked! Thanks everyone for coming out. I had a great weekend! :-) And next time, I'm going to send out an email to everyone like I meant to do, doh!
