Four-legged Friend come home!

I've lost my cat. Well, 'lost' might be a bit strong and it may be closer to the truth to say, "He hasn't come home. Yet." Jpeg (my cat) is never further away than the sound of a tin opening and is an emotionally needy little thing. He's not exactly 'brave' and is no match for warning off the regular cat-visitors I find in my garden, never mind the ones I find on my various windowsills from time to time... My "interchangeable, unofficial, third cat" I like to call them... My other cat, Capcom is doing a very bad impression of Lassie at the minute. Meowing a lot, letting me know that something/someone is missing but falls down at the "pointing the way" aspect of the scene. Poor old Capcom and his wobbly brain, head and body. Lack of oxygen to the brain when he was born. Imagine that scene in Bambi when the little foal learns to walk. That's ole Capcom on a bad day. Come home JPeg!

Oh hope you find him Sonia, we lost a cat for 7 months once, found him on a farm on outskirts of our village in the end. Very fit and well after a very cold winter when he must have scavenged a living somehow. The farmer said he was wild but he came immediately from our call, he was living with cows in a cow shed where the warmth rose, he was up on stacked hay bales.

Come home jPeg!

I hope Jpeg comes home soon. I too have a timid cat and I'd be very worried if went out and didn't come right home. I'm saying a little prayer that he comes home soon. I have read that most cats who get "lost" are actually not very far from home at all. If he's not home in the morning, I recommend going out and looking under every porch in the area. You might also check basements that can be accessed from the outside. I found a kitty there one time. I sure hope you find him soon.

I've had cats for years and I still don't quite understand them, you think you know exactly what they'll do and then every once in a while they'll surprise you, my cat c'fa (a for apple, b for ball c fa cat!!) was always around me, he even used to come in the car with me and walk up to the shop with me, he went missing for a week and I broke my heart thinking that something had happened to him, he turned up as if he'd never been away, fully fed and back into his usual routine! I'm sure he'll turn up xx

Aw... Cats are sooo strange. We try to get to know them but they keep their own counsel unless they want something (we have four - one that hides from even her own shadow, and three others in various flavours of feisty).
JPeg is probably off having an adventure, or experimenting with control techniques on some other poor hapless human.
Fingers crossed he'll be home soon, acting as if nothing ever happened.
