Well, it's official... I'm moving to San Diego this weekend! It took awhile to finalize everything but it's all settled now, and I'll start my new job May 5th! I flew out last weekend and found a basic apartment in the ritziest area of La Jolla, a block from Children's Beach (home of many very smelly and cute baby seals). It's worth having a small but basic place to get that ocean view and the sound of surf at night. Bungee and I will be spending a lot of time walking the shore and visiting Dog Beach!

Dearest Minnesota Friends (and friends from elsewhere, of course), know that you have a place to visit and stay in La Jolla - we love company!! I do have pictures of the new digs posted on another site, so personal friends, feel free to PM me for the link (I figure safety says to not share it with the whole world).
