Whatcha wanna know?
Farewell to a fur-baby
Fri, January 11, 2008 - 7:51 AMI adopted Marcel 14 years ago when my now ex-husband moved into the guest room and my other cat Pizzi started sleeping in there with him. I went to the local shelter and saw a sweet white spotted kitty snuggled up and "nursing" on a female in the cat area. He took to me right away, and ride home on my shoulder, chewing my hair and snuggling the whole way.
Marcel was the most open-hearted and patient cat I've ever known. He'd tolerate the stream of visiting dog cousins, my cranky old lady-cat's temper, and was at the door any time someone visited. His playfulness and silliness as a young cat lightened my life as I went through hard times, and as an aging cat, his ready purr, patient soul and snuggling abilities warmed everyone's heart (even those that didn't like cats).
We'll miss him, but I'll forever be grateful that he shared my life!

Oh I am sorry,
Marcel was a very sweet and beautiful cat. Its so hard when our best friends need to leave us but you will still have him around as they never really go far. Now Marcel is free to travel with out the confines of a cumbersom body. 'Safe travels Marcel, and visit often" |

Now you have a cat angel watching out for you. His love isn't gone, he just is in a form now that can care for you forever. I am sorry for your loss.

Thanks!
Thanks for the good wishes. An angel in life will surely be an angel in the next, don't you think? :-)

I am sorry, honey. But I am glad he had you with him, and that you had each other for so long.
BB, dear. |

waaaaa!
Thanks for making me cry! Oh, how very sad that he has left you, but it's so wonderful to hear how he transformed your life. When it is your time to make the journey, he'll be waiting for you, to be reunited.
