I am 35 years old.I have epilepsy & engelmanns disease. My epilepsy has had a greater effect on my life than my engelmanns most of the time. I've had multiple neurosurgeries to try & reduce the # of seizures I have each month. My last surgery (in Switzerland) reduced them from 70 to 20 a month yippee!! With the help of different meds I'm now at about 5-10 monthly. I lived wth my parents until a year ago due to lack of tranportaion. I'm not allowed to drive. So, living in a town with no public transportation can be difficult. But I have great friends & family who are soooo supportive.

Now I live in the center of town where I can walk to my two jobs,the bank,postoffice, etc. Unfortunetly thats where the engelmanns comes in. My legs are effected by it, so too much walking isn't good. So being honest ,life can really suck at times, but I'm deffinetly a firm believer in positive thinking.

I'm very much a country girl. I love nature camping,& swimming. My family has maintained a cabin on a lake my entire life. It's swhat I like to call luxurious camping. The running water is lake water, you have to go to the pump in the woods for fresh. I could go on & on but you get the point.
