So I never realized (nor am I sure I ever wanted to know) how much work actually goes into getting a book published. I am now up to my third round of revisions on my thesis, and hopefully this will get it through stage 1 of the approval process, e.g. past my advisor. It's a ripe pain, since I've had to literally go through and redo each musical example from "Ragnarok" (and yes that's supposed to be italicized!) so that the cleffs reappear on the staff lines in the paper.
