about me
I'm a relatively new transplant to Colorado. I have a awesome little boy who will soon be two.. I love to sew, and would create all day long if I could. I especially enjoy using upcycled materials and ones that are kind to the earth (ie. sustainable and/or organic). I've been a veggie for a long time and now I have the fun task of creating a veggie toddler diet. My husband is an excellent web/graphic designer whom I fell in love with almost instantly. I'm also earning to hoop and would really like to find a mentor. I love to curl up with a good book and a cuppa tea. Or chill out on the sofa an watch a good movie.
I teach beginner sewing classes at a new consignment store in on Spruce St. in Boulder. There's a website coming soon, but here's a link to a blog spot about it:

I am also a seamstress for a recycled designer handbag company based in Boulder. It's fun, I get to sew together old truck tire inner tubes.
I have recently started a new tribe called HoopMamas (
tribes.tribe.net/hoopmamas). It is for parents, friends of parents and others who don't mind kiddies, who want to meet the same. Please check it out =) Don't be fooled by the name either, non-hoopers are also welcome.
