Long-time Berkeleyan, heavily influenced by alternative health, meditation and martial arts. I see no reasonable alternative to left/radical politics. Not that I haven't tried, mind you, but when I pay any attention at all to what's going on I just naturally joined MoveOn.org. I wish the Dems were materially different from the fascists ... I mean, the Republikkans. When I'm not focused on the meltdown in Washington I can and will fix backs. (Have CA esthetician license: can also wax eyebrows!).

I am originally from LA, and circumstances at this time require me to travel back and forth every month or so. A very nostaligc place for me. LA people are invited to chat and grab a bite when I'm in the Southland.
