Marco didn't go to Whitsett afterall. He has an interview tomorrow in Karnes City for a LT. position. I still haven't returned to work as I don't have insurance and can't afford a doctor visit. Oh well.

Today my child tried to hit me with a wire hanger. Nice.

Mark has decided to go and stay in whitsett and try and get work there until he starts back to the prison. TDCJ says they'll hire him back in 4-6 weeks.

I'm tired. I know God will work this all out. I"m going to turn in my application for tax school, and fill out another app to substitute teach. My friend Diana said she'd watch mellie for me.

The family went to Whitsett on Sunday afternoon to cookout and visit. I had a wonderful visit with Aunt Vickie and my mother in law Miss Lucy. Miss Lucy offered to take Melodie for the night so I could get some rest. Sadly, I wound up in bed the rest of the evening, all of monday, as I has a horrendous migraine. It finally broke at 1am this morning, and I am most grateful for the relief.

Today was a really bad day for Melodie. I was exhausted, and Mark took Melodie fishing so I could get some rest. She didn't fish much, just argues and ran around, but I did get a much needed nap. I'm going to eat a snack, and then I'm off to bed.

Last night Mark and I had a long talk about the volatile environment of our household. After threatening to leave, Mark recommitted himself to Melodie and our marriage. Despite Melodie's rants, we managed to enjoy a bit of time together last night just watching television. He even helped with the laundry.
