...there is a new community radio forming...

"Radio Free Utah" now exists as a nonprofit entity (501c3 status
pending.) We are in no way affiliated with Listeners Community Radio
of Utah, KRCL. We will be a internet broadcaster, providing live
community, grassroots programming. Not only will we be the home of
intensely talented ex-KRCL volunteers (KRCL volunteers losing their
shows will be given first opportunity to continue their show in the
same time slot), but we will strive to provide the best real,
independent, community broadcasting. No, its not the same as FM
broadcasting, but is something we can do NOW. And in many ways it
provides incredible new opportunities -- no FCC, no CPB, and no longer
limited by one signal and 24 hours in a day.

Thanks to the great folks at XMission, without whom this endeavor
would not be possible.

Now, it is your turn to help. We will need a lot of help in all kinds
of ways to make this successful. We will need money, supplies, and
volunteers. Please keep checking back to this site as more details are
available.
