You've probably never met anyone like me before. Which is a good thing and a bad thing. I defy categorizaton and find myself floating on the outskirts of groups but never really fitting in. I am highly creative, witty, incisive, but I detest the occasional smugness, elitism and holier-than-thou attitudes of creative types (as much as I marvel at their ability to reach into outer space for their ideas). I am an ambitious professional, and a captialist, but I find the conversations of my peers and colleagues too narrow and dull. I love to drink, smoke, dance and cavort all weekend long, but the opaque, vacuous stares of party girls and the dearth of personality is sad. At times, I am a bundle of nervous, hyperkenetic energy that is bursting with jokes and crazy ideas. At other times, I can be found meditating on the meaninglessness of life while at the bottom of a well, or watching an Ingmar Bergman film slowly unravel with sorrow. I am passionate, affectionate and expressive. I have an opinion about everything, but I'm also humble enough to know my limitations - I listen, which can be a very precious commodity in a world where everybody is just waiting to talk and for you to shut up. I am a perennial optimist, but realize that ultimately everything is meaningless and will eventually turn to nothingness.
