January has been crazy and so will February. For the past two weeks I've been practicing 5 days a week with Delirium Tribal and Saidi Belles. This Friday is our Art Bar show (Delirium) and Sat. is our museum gig. I'm excited and believe we will do well. I'm doing my first solo with wings and it's going pretty well. I'm also doing a veil duet with Nat which consist of lots of spinning. All I see are beautiful colors (our veils)..haha. It's fun but I never realized how tiring it would be. I should think twice before I agree to dance with Nat...she's killing me!! JK..LOVE YOU NAT!!!! I seriously need a breather after that routine but I love it!!! Next month Delirium will be getting ready for our TribalCon peformance. I'm excited and a bit nervous since it will be in front of the tribal world!! Plus..it will be my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!! Delirium has lots of talent and I know we will put on a great show. The following weekend is Saidi Belles show in Lexington, SC and after that I will be performing with Delirium and Saidi Belles at Southern Oasis and I will be vending. I must say that I will be glad when all this is over so I can breathe a little. My fiance has been very supportive and I love him for it.

Well, at least I have today off. Gotta take advantage of my day off to sew a few things that I need for this weekend.

Back to work.....

I started a diet last year and stop during the holidays and gained all the weight back. Anyway...finally started again about a month ago but finally got serious about it about two weeks ago and I've lost 15 lbs. so far. 155 this morning. Feel pretty good and will continue until I reach my goal of 135. 20 more and counting. :)

It started last Sat. I own an condo in this nice little neighborhood were we pay a fee and they are supposed to take care of our landscaping. Well, they do a crappy job and we (fiance and I) got fed up and cut our bushes ourselves. The bushes were as tall as I am and wide. Now all we have is about 2 feet tall. hehe. So we took out roots, planted flowers and lay out some mulch. That was Sat. and Sun. Monday was my tribal class with Natalie and we did FLOORWORK. My poor legs were already sore and floorwork didn't help much but I still enjoyed class and got to work on my technique (which needs lots of work.) Tuesdays after work I took a little nap before heading to practice. Cesar asked me if I was ok since I never nap. I was just tired. Practice for our Art Bar show went ok for me. I'm usually not scared of performing in public but this Art Bar performance is a bit intimitating since it will be the first time I perform there and I'm the newbie!! After practice I was so tire that all I wanted was my bed. Today is my free day (no class, no practice, nada) and I plan to rest. I think I'm getting sick....arg. I'm still sore and need to remember to do some stretching tonight. This weekend we have to finish the other half of our yard, and Natalie said we would be doing floorwork until our Fan workshop in April so I don't see an end to this soreness. This should be fun!!!! I hope I make it..hahahaha :)

My fiance says I can get them and he will pay for them..but I'm don't know if I should....am I crazy?????
