Cecily has known me longer than anyone.
I'm pretty sure we met three lifetimes ago in a kayak.
The second time we met we hated each other and put sap in each others hair.
The third time we met we had to huddle together for warmth in the woods to survive.
The fourth time we met I vomited in a supermarket chewing purple bubblegum.
I can still smell the sap and Johnson & Johnson's baby shampoo in Cecily's hair.
We wear bracelets from our wrists to our elbows. Some of them have buttons that activate secret devices in the bracelets. No one else knows about the buttons.
We've roamed amongst unfriendly natives, savages, the high seas and pirates. We've out-stealthed ninjas and out-foxed the foxiest. Cecily is a great adventurer and partner in crime. I absolutely trust her with my secrets. If I buried my pirate booty, she'd be the person I told where I'd hidden the map.
