Sometimes I read a book that says, "Don't read this book go find a teacher and put down the books!"
Sometimes before I put the book down I read about a teacher that can awaken Love in your heart. Malia is such a friend and teacher to me. She truly spreads light and love in the world. Personally, I've never had the patience for spreading light and love. So Malia showed me how to do it 24x7 ... efficiently. Now I can relax! Some handy, dandy trix!!! She also taught me * you don't need a reason to forgive someone Sometimes when she's talking, it's not her talking, it's Awareness talking. And that's the most beautiful thing in the world. One time I was sitting on the cliffs, watching the ocean, and a guy sat down on bench near mine and started drumming. Then another guy came with his drum. Then a guy came with a sitar, and then several other drummers, and then a saxaphone player. They were all improvising as the sun was setting. And just as I began to enter a state of total hypnotic bliss, about forty sailboats with all different colored sails burst out into the waters. That was probably the most beautiful experience of my life before meeting Malia, but listening to one of her stories trumps that a thousand percent. That's the reason to put down the book and go find Malia. In some alternate universe, I worship her form as Isis or Mary. In another universe, I take care of her. In this universe, I'm her student and devoted friend, for which I can say ... Mahalo! July 29, 2005
i don't know about you but in my life there are moments where i merge into a project without thinking much about what was going on at the time, and later thought to myself how lucky i was that i chose well!
one of those was an overwhelming urge to teach my friend quasar reiki 1&2, and based on communcation with the house elves, and spirit, i was supposed to do whatever i needed to, in order to get quasar in the class. the next 33 steps of synchronicities led me to another moment like that, teaching my first reiki master teacher student, i've taught several reiki masters, but no teachers until i decided to teach malia to pass the light to other peoples. malia's also the first person i passed all the lightarian reiki attunements to (levels 1-6) every little choice i made that led me back home to the blue house - i chose well! the open hearted love & fun it's been living with you all again!!! malia is one of the most unique humans i've been around, her optimism & enthusiasm have been a true blessing to be near. we've all gone thru so much in the last 7 months changing, morphing, shifting shapes, converting darkness into light, ceremonies, dancing, making music, living intentionally & deliberately, i've learned and become so much!!! i hardly recognize the guy i was before i moved back into the cASA! as far as reiki goes, without any motive or intention other than love, and the sucess of the plan of love & light; i can honestly say malia has the potential to be one of the most awesome healers & teachers that i've known! as her teacher i'm completely humbled by all that i've learned about the reiki i taught her to use, she has been my most amazing student, and teacher i've had! aloha to you malia, and all your relations, your whole family that brought you here

This 2-day, 16 hour class includes: * The Usui Master-Teacher attunement which enhances your personal growth and healing, expands your capacity to channel Reiki, increases the power/frequency of the Reiki you are able to channel, and empowers you with the ability to facilitate healing attunements and initiation attunements for all levels of Usui Reiki (I, II, ART, Master-Teacher). * Attunement to the Tibetan Master and Tibetan Fire Serpent symbols which further strengthen your connection to your intuitive/higher self and increase the effectiveness of all of your other symbols. Using these Master symbols in your healing sessions intensifies and focuses the Reiki energy, helping to remove negative energy more easily. The Tibetan Master symbol provides gentle yet powerful holistic healing and can be used to empower Reiki breath work. All beings have direct access to this Presence - it is the essence of who/what we are. However, many of us, over time, unconsciously close ourselves off to this Presence and our relationship becomes clouded. The Presence is still there, but a person's conscious awareness of it is diminished to the extent that they have difficulty tuning in to and relating with it. Usui Reiki Level IIIa Master Practitioner/Advanced Reiki Training Saturday, October 14th, 2009 Noon - 7:30 PM www.ReikiSF.org Usui Reiki IIIa is a level that exists only in some of the Reiki systems. It is a Master level, yet it's not about teaching Reiki to others, but rather stepping more fully into your own personal embodiment of Reiki. Many of us began our Reiki journeys with the guidance of a teacher who gifted us with a foundation for our practice - suggested formats and guidelines and ready-made tools intended to support our growth in an area that for many of us was very new territory. After one practices for a while on one's own, however, it becomes beneficial to begin shedding the frameworks given to us by others and move more deeply into our own unique and authentic expressions of Reiki. This class is intended to encourage and support this transition. Although new techniques will be introduced in the class, they will be presented more as catalysts to encourage your expanded use of Reiki and integration of it into your daily lives, rather than as guidelines for practice. In addition, you will be encouraged to participate more fully in the attunement process - your own attunement and those of your classmates. I see this class as a crossroads of sorts. It prepares teachers for the teacher level, and also assists and supports practitioners who do not currently intend to teach, but wish to continue on with their Reiki education, either through a self-guided path and/or the more paved roads such as Karuna Reiki and Lightarian Reiki. Usui Reiki IIIa is a one-day course (7-1/2 hours) that includes the following activities/topics: * The Usui Master attunement (Level IIIa/ART/Master Practitioner), which tunes you in to a higher frequency of healing energy and expands your capacity to channel these higher frequencies. Usui Reiki Level IIIa Master Practitioner/Advanced Reiki Training Saturday, June 6th, 2009 Noon - 7:30 PM Usui Reiki IIIa is a level that exists only in some of the Reiki systems. It is a Master level, yet it's not about teaching Reiki to others, but rather stepping more fully into your own personal embodiment of Reiki. Many of us began our Reiki journeys with the guidance of a teacher who gifted us with a foundation for our practice - suggested formats and guidelines and ready-made tools intended to support our growth in an area that for many of us was very new territory. After one practices for a while on one's own, however, it becomes beneficial to begin shedding the frameworks given to us by others and move more deeply into our own unique and authentic expressions of Reiki. This class is intended to encourage and support this transition. Although new techniques will be introduced in the class, they will be presented more as catalysts to encourage your expanded use of Reiki and integration of it into your daily lives, rather than as guidelines for practice. In addition, you will be encouraged to participate more fully in the attunement process - your own attunement and those of your classmates. I see this class as a crossroads of sorts. ReikiSF. org The Master Teacher class is geared toward those advanced practitioners who are planning on teaching sometime in the near future, though it is open to anyone who feels they are ready to move on to the next level (i.e. you may not be interested in teaching right now, but would like to expand your healing capabilities with the higher Master Teacher frequencies and the healing attunement technique, and/or empower personal healing with self-attunements). This particular class is being held on the first weekend after the New Moon in Aries. I came across this simple and inspiring guide to meditation while exploring Tara Brach's website. What I really love about Tara's approach to meditation is that it comes from a place of deep-felt compassion and lovingkindness and encourages others to develop this same compassion and lovingkindness for themselves (and all of Life).
