Makes Sense to Me

As we anxiously await the arrival of Baby Emily....
We need to sell my 1991 Acura Integra and get a four door
car. If anyone sees a reliable, new, low mileage four door
vehicle for sale... or has one... can you pass along the info??

My car works fine, has 171K miles on it, but its too small for
the family.

I thought I would put it out there... just in case..

Now that 2008 is here, I was able to pick up a trio of musical
goodness from itunes. In order to 'be fair' to each of the new
albums, I set them to random order of the three. I found they
compliment each other very nicely. Sometimes I couldn't tell
by the first ten notes whether it was Trey, ALO, or Patti.....

Patti Smith: Twelve Five Bri-Stars
This is her 2007 release of covers. Helpless,
Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Smells Like Teen Spirit, and
more. Her chilling voice resonates truth in Twelve.

ALO: Roses and Clover Five Bri-Stars
I can't believe I have waited so long for this one.
New songs! Fully produced, but not losing any of the
Liberation I have loved for the past 10 years. Songs like Monday,
All Alone, and Plastic Bubble will be on my playlist in another ten years.
Not only for their musical mastery, but for the visual impact.
Its like a cartoon in my head that goes along with the Roses & Clover
soundtrack.

Trey Anastasio: The Horseshoe Curve Five Bri-Stars

Oh, how I miss Trey. I was perfectly ready to "settle"
for this one, but it became a gold mine once I listened to the
first song, Streets of San Francisco. My memories of Trey and
his band involve those streets, and I could really bring myself
'there' with the Curve. I am so glad this was released. There is a
headbanger of a title track, a sultry Porters Pyramids, and a live fave
with Burlack Sack & Pumps.
The full band, the organ, the horns, the percussion, THE GUITAR!

Three great albums by three legends.
