I've had long hair for so long, I'd forgotten the terror of the "too-short" cut. In a brutal reminder, my fringe is now around an inch long. I always have Beautiful Lucy, but risked a quick trim from a "Senior Stylist" as she wasn't there. It seemed churlish & slightly prejudiced to refuse on the basis that she was bright orange, but I knew she was trouble.

I luff my new laptop. No more "low virtual memory" warnings, no waiting 30 minutes just to start, wireless broadband as a given. Truely, tis a miracle of the modern age (although since I'm so far behind the rest of the world, it'll all be out of date next week). Bloody ipod, though - have to faff to transfer all my music, as my cd burner doesn't actual work on the old one.

Well, I can't be happy at work as too many people are pissed off about the Great Restructure, so I'm doing the Snoopy Happy Dance here - I was interviewed today & offered the job of Dysfluency (stammering) Specialist! So now am doing 1/2 Hearing impaired specialism & 1/2 dysfluency - my dream job! So happy I could burst!!! Pay rise too - hurrah!!
