Not only is Bobby my landlord, boss and mentor, he is also my friend. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t learn something from Bobby that benefits my live in a positive way, even when I find myself under the bus. Bobby is just, kind, fair, honest, dependable, unselfish, knowledgeable and most of all, a great, all around human being! If Bobby were ten to fifteen years older, I’d just call him, Dad!
I’ve been with Bobby and the Venice Vibe Tribe now for roughly half a year. What I really admire most about Bobby is his consideration for others and his ability to be fair and honest… even when others have not been fair or honest with him. This, to me, is a very, very rare quality indeed. Bobby is the driving force behind most of the Venice Vibe Tribes endeavors. Never once have I seen Bobby show any sort of attitude in being the Captain of our ship. I have never seen him put down or degrade others, his emotional stability remains constant and it seems that he does not need any sort of recognition or praise for the large portion of himself that he bestows to me, our home and the other elements of the Venice Vibe Tribe. To me, Bobby is the epitome of Selflessness and Integrity!
Today, mostly due to Bobby and the VVT, my life has a much bigger picture and a more focused sense of direction. God willing, with dedication and a bit of hard work, Bobby and the Venice Vibe Tribe will have a safe, fun and memorable experience at my very first Burning Man Adventure!! May I continue to grow with Bobby for many years to come!!
