Downtown Los Angeles Space for Free Reiki Night Hello,I am looking to provide free Reiki services for one night a week at a location in Downtown Los Angeles. I have a handful of students how may occasionally join me, on a rotating basis. My goal is to provide free Reiki treatments for those interested and in need, in the Downtown area. I am thinking on Tuesday or Thursday nights between 4:00 and 8:00 pm. Enough time to set in 3-4 appointments (I can adjust the time as needed for the space provided). If you have, or know of a location that is willing to donate one night a week, while I donate my time that would be great. This is in the initial planning stages, I want to settle the location and details before I begin to provide the complimentary therapy. I have been a Reiki practitioner for over 12 years. I received my master training in 2003. If you know of anyone who would be willing to volunteer their time or work for a small fee/trade that would be great. I’m pouring a fair amount of money into a few other resources and unless one or two of them bear some fruit I’m a bit tight on funds. Bartering at this time is nice. :) I’m working through the last half of my completely revised Reiki Level One training manual, with all that I have since learned (when I was trained) and I’m in the process of integrating that into my system. It’s helped me allot and I want to pass it on. Mediation SPots in Downtown LA? I’m currently documenting some of my favorite spots to take a break in the day and meditate, or soak up the scenery. Your suggestions and or private spaces are of interest to me as well. I’m looking for at least four downtown Los Angeles spots, gardens, hidden spaces, quite rooftops or places of sacred solace to publish in The Journey. I am also interested in your private spaces. If you keep or maintain a sacred space, meditation spot or other type of personal space in your apartment or loft, I would love the opportunity to come out, talk to you, photograph you in it and publish it in the blog as well. I’m open to all ideas and possibilities, I believe in the great diversity of the world, so if your “sacred space” of creativity and solitude is your art studio or your bathtub, a kitchen or a dance floor, I’d like to shoot you in it and tell the rest of the world about it. I think it’s been almost 15 days since I’ve been able to sit down and focus on writing. Time flies when you’re busy and having fun. I was graced with a two nights stay at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, where I had a poolside cabana for the last weekend. I really needed the mini-vacation, I think both Brandon and I did.
