<div>Aah wonderful joyous life.

Back in the Bay Area again. After more then six months of travel I'm excited to be gainfully employed and back in the USA. Life is full and hectic right now with a long commute from Oakland to San Jose.

I bought an old (1985) Mercedes 300 TD Wagon and it's the bomb. Very rad old car which I will convert to Waist Vegetable Oil (WVO) for free fuel. Basically any diesel vehicle can be modified to run Vegetable Oil by replacing some fuel lines and adding some heaters to warm the thick stuff. Waist oil is often free because rester aunts need to pay someone to haul it off and dispose of it correctly (It's hazardous waist).

I'm putting together a Haad Tien Theme camp for burning man this year. If you know me from Haad Tien please join the tribe.

A note to all my cell phone number has changed please message me to get the new one. </div>

    </a>
										<div>After traveling in Asian countries for the last 4 months one thing keeps catching my eye. The infrastructure of the countries is horrible.

Electricity is haphazard at best. The government after coaxing and bribes eventually installs utility poles and brings power to some buildings. After that the people do whatever they like. In Mcleod Ganj a place where it snows people us small electric heaters to warm their homes. The power is completely unstable. It's common to be using the internet or sitting at a cafe and have the power drop off for an hour or two.

Recently I discovered why the service is restored so fast. The Indians simply open the utility boxes and remove the blown fuse. Then they jump the connection with a normal piece of wire. Quite a few times I have heard the fuses blow out. Likely because of overloading the circuits. In fact the power just went out.

Lesson learned having a stable grid is a luxury.

<div>India being an ex british collony has adopted the idea of a barber shop. You can find them everywhere. For 10 ruppies ($0.43) you can have a shave and a scalp massage.

Feeling quite hairy I decided to try it out. The barber and Indian man must have been in his early 20's, blind in one eye due to glaucoma. He motioned me into the chair. I don't think he spoke any english at all. He applied some sort of shaving gell to my face and lathered it up with a traditional brush, produced a straight razor with a fresh blad and began to gently and precisely shave me. The shave was unbelievably close.

Then he applied aftershave (ouch) and massaged my back and scalp (painful but nice). </div>

<div>For all of you following the adventures of Jeremiah I'm in Thailand! After a failed business deal in Croatia I'm living with my new wife Xian in Thailand.

Life here is easy. The weather is tropical and so nice for christmas. The community out here is terrific.

Where the hell are you?

I'm on an island in the south of Thailand called Co Pang Yang. It's known for it's full moon parties in Hadrin. I live on a small beach called Haad Tien. It's named after the trees that live on the beach.

I too want to run away to paradise. Well you can, the beach has quite a few cute bungalows, it's cheep and the food is delicious. </div>

    </a>
										<div>After leaving a bad business deal in Croatia Xian and I returned to the US.

Xian has spent the last seven years on a beautifull beach in Thialand and I decided to go check it out.

First we needed a Visa to stay longer then 90 days so we took a trip to Los Angeles on Xian's motorcycle to the Thai Embasy. Stopped over to see my godfather and up the coast to see my mother for Thanks Giving. Wow no one cooks like your mother. Another great feast.

Got some cheep tickets and spent a week running around then off to Bankcock for a couple of days and then down to a remote island know for it's full moon parties.

Bancock is a bustling Thai sitty filled with beautiful temples and bustling streets. Most people get around on scooters or 125 cc motorcycles. No helmets required. Unexpected they drive on the wrong side of the street so check both ways before crossing. We stopped in a sunday market day of arrival. Must have been an achre of small stalls filled with clothing, eletronics, leather goods, beads, gold jewelery, art crazzy fun. Lots of thai peoeple roaming around chatting on thier cell phones.

Everywhere you look small hand carts full of exotic foods. The green papaya salad with thai chilies is delicious, fried noodles, candied lotus root. To many to list. Even individually wrapped sushi.

Next day we get up and I decide to get back into alternative culture and got three piercings. Both my ears and my tongue. Found some wild jewelery and have started streatching my ears already.

Bankcock has several rivers running through it so we took a water taxi, a very long thing boat a couple of times to get across town. The next day we went to Pan Tep Plaza. It's known for being the electronics hub of Bancock. Six stories of shops selling everything computerized. I found at least five shops selling pirated software. Incredible prices. Even shops offfering the service to fill up your ipod for you. Wow it was great.

Next day got up ran some errands and took a night train down the coast. Funky dirty train half filled with very nice thai people and the other with loud internation backpacking tourists. Fun to chat with because I don't speak enough thai to get on with the locals yet. Xian has been to thailand so many time she knows exactly how to travel so we bought some food before getting on the train and had a feast. More about this later.

<div>Just a quick recap of my wild journies of the last couple of months.

Summer started by having my motorcycle stollen and getting a contract gig at Sonic Wall down in Silicon Valley.

I had a friend that was enthusiastic about buying and developing some real estate in Croatia (next coast east from Itally). He traveled over during the summer and I did some housesitting for him. He asked me to be part of this new venture and help him develop the real estate. I thought wow this is great I'm excited. I finished my contract at Sonic Wall and pulled out of college for the next semester.

With my newfound free time I decided to goto Burning Man. Woot. It was great. I got maried. Yeah to Xian!!! That's another story.

I didn't know when we were going to fly over to Croatia to start this development so I went out to see Nynex in Colorado. Another great trip, and decided to do the Exotic Errotic this year. Yeah another fun event.

At the begining of November I flew out to Croatia for 10 Days. Wow fun. The business deal fell through and I took the return flight. My new wife spent the last 7 years in Thailand and had intended on returning for the winter. So I decided to come along and explore Thailand for a few months.

Convieniently we needed to get a Thai Visa so that required going to Los Angeles to the Thai consolate. This made it possible to go home (Lompoc) for thanks giving. Yeah.

So in response to everyones questions I'm now in Thailand!</div>

<div>I spent friday night (8/7/06) at the Supper Club, it was terrific. The club is setup with a small bar, a large room lined with beds. A DJ in the center of the room and a full kitchen completely exposed in the rear of the room. The servers all have distinctive unique urban dress. Throughout the evening there are performance art pieces. You dine on a delicious five course meal, and then the folks waiting in the bar come in and it turns into a dance club. The highlight of the evening was DJ OOAH who spins breaks DNB and Hardcore, who was accompanied by a jungalist vocalist and a beat boxer. So fucking intense. Can't wait to see him live again. </div>
