What is astrology?

Astrology is a powerful tool, and one that can help us find our souls true work. Not only does astrology help us delve into the mysteries of our soul, character, and true nature, it also helps us find our service to and place in the world.

From an astrological point of view, we're all here to understand ourselves and discover our true identity. For most of us, it takes many, many years to be firmly planted in authenticity. As we grow up, we often sacrifice our true identity for acceptance in the world. Our cultures, races, peers, family and parents all have a major effect on who we know ourselves to be, and the problem is, much of it is nonsense! We learn habits, patterns, labels, emotional responses, behaviors and beliefs that are simply false (for us), limiting our creative potential, possibility, and happiness.

My focus, in the astrological world, is with the younger generations. I feel it is one of my most important gifts, and many of my readings are for children and their parents. This helps parents identify some of the major themes a child will grapple with, and see them in a much greater context than ever before. This, in turn, creates sufficent space for the child to realize their deepest truths and selves. They are given encouragement to dive into their true callings, shadows, passions and hearts. What greater gift could we offer our children?

Astrology gives us a glimpse of our true identity, our authentic self. It may not be the most comfortable path to tread, but it is the most rewarding. We explore our inner and outer, our light and our darkness, and we come out a stronger, more capable, consciously whole human being. At this magical meeting place of spirit and matter, we know ourselves to be connected to a much greater web of life: our personality is only a mask we wear, an extension of our eternal and timeless nature.
