I began my hippy crafting as a Deadhead in the early ‘90’s as a way for me to follow the Grateful Dead. I did this on and off for about three years. The first thing that I ever made was a pair of earrings. They had a bone skeleton bead on the end with turquoise and amethyst chip beads on top. I sold these for $10 a pair and they were hot little sellers. A hippy sister in North Carolina taught me how to make these and that was the start of becoming an artist. This is where it happened…. Alberton, Montana. April 11, 1996. This was a day that was to change my life forever!
