Another day spent sitting on my butt in the wheelchair called home. Hopefully I only have a couple more weeks in it.

It was wonderful to get to see everyone at the Cast Party, even if it was a bit like a fly on the wall from the corner of the room. I still got to get in on a few conversations as they passed by. Some even stopped to say hello for a few minutes.

Surgery is over

Well, now it is time to heal. The worst part of it for me. I do not do sit stay. It is only day two and I am going nuts having to just sit and hop on one foot with crutches to the bathroom. At least 6 weeks of it.

I have two weeks from today before I go in for surgery. That means two weeks left to get a crap load of sewing done.
Plus throw in a holiday, cast party and Fort Mac! Hope it all works out well. Then yesterday my AC goes down the tube! No cool... read more

I missed going to Big Bear, but thanks to Ariston, I at least got to see pics of it and everyone there. That was great, thanks Ariston. I got to see Tristan, Arick and Ariston last Friday for a while, they stopped by to visit. Lots of family and friends have signed my cast, I want to get photos before they cut it off. Mandi, I totally agree, Kris' mom is wonderful. It was great that they opened up their home once again to all of us to invade for the day. Tristan really loved the pool.

My last hurrah for the summer walking was Ft. MacArthur, what a blast. It was sooooooooooo much fun. Even with 50 sunblock we all got fried, but it was worth every bit of it. Can't wait til next year.
