3/15/07 San Diego Sports Arena

Eric Clapton played a gtreat show for us last night, his band is amazing, especialy showcasing Derek Trucks on slide guitar. The highlights are pretty easy to pick out including a guest appearance by J.J. Cale, sitting in for 5 songs including, Cocaine, After Midnight, & Cry Sister Cry. Other highlights include a ripping Furthur on up the Road, Little Wing,Layla, as well as You Look Wonderful Tonight. They encored with Crossroads with Robert Cray sitting in on that one.My only complaimt about the SD Sports Arena (ipayone center) was the audience. Very stiff, no standing/dancing (until the very last song of course) and they stopped serving beer at 9:30 sharp and the show didn't start til 8:45 (weak) anyway, fun was had by all and I will remember it for a long time to come.

To breathe in
You must first breathe out
Let go

To hold
You must first open your hand
Let go

To be warm
You must first be naked
Let go
