One time john and I were coming home from a kicking party. As we turned a corner into an alley, nine black-robed assassins appeared as if from thin air in a circle around us. I let out a high-pitched scream and curled into a fetal position, but john calmly unsheathed his sword, muttered an incantation under his breath and slashed an arcane symbol into the air. He casually pulled a handkerchief out of his pocket, wiped blood off his sword and resheathed it. At that moment, the assassins all simultaneously exploded into puddles of blood and gore. I just wanted to thank you, john. That was totally cool dude, and ill never forget it!
