Letter of Recommendation to Potential Landlord--
To whom it may concern:
I met Brian in 1996 when we worked together at one of the early Web development firms in San Francisco. While we only worked together for a year, I've been friends with him ever since. Brian has had a very successful career, going from being a junior programmer on some of the earliest corporate Web sites to managing groups of programmers and developing large scale projects.
Brian has been very involved in the San Francisco community. I know he is a subscriber to the Symphony and a enthusiastic supporter of the San Francisco Film Society. He also donates his time and programming skills to various not-for-profit software projects. It's unfortunate that a person with such positive attitude and strong values is leaving our city.
Every time I've visit Brian's apartment it is very clean and orderly. He seems to lead a quiet and mature lifestyle at home, surrounded by a diverse collection of books and esoteric foreign films on DVDs. I believe Brian would not only be a perfect tenant for a landlord, but also a desirable person to have as a neighbor.
Sincerely,
Wayne
