Pressed out my Pinot Noir today. It's my first solo barrel (previous efforts were shared with friends), so the first one I had to make all the decisions myself. Little stressful, particularly realizing that $2000 was gone whether I screw it up or get it right. Fortunately, I'm quite happy with the results so far. Still undergoing malolatic fermentation, so a little zippy but showing wonderful primary red fruit aromatics, pretty red/maroon color, moderate tannin and nicely balanced acidity...
