every time thought knows the timeless
that's a time it is mistaken
acknowledging this truth
may just help awaken
one from a dream now shaken
into i'meless meditation
cause every time thought knows the Self
that's a time it's proven wrong
and every time Self shows thought Self
thought prints it out in psalms
built into new floors on Babble
stretching toward the sun
while my ego holds the gavel
as he claims that he's the One:
the one who thinks
the one who knows
the one who is the power
and all he learns and understands
he adds it to that tower
the more you take your faith from it
the more it starts to rumble
and as you touch the skyline
your foundation starts to crumble
Lord, nothing built can reach You
and nothing staged can play You
for the light you cast amidst my shadows
brings peace to all my battles
and when we drop our weapons
to look at one another
there is a different kind of looking
one that sees Earth as our mother
born from Self we die to it
cause Self is all we are
so when we see the Self in all
the sun’s not just a star
there is no writing on the wall
that can't reveal a hidden glow
a light so bright it makes me wonder
just what i think i know
and now that lightning Is the thunder
our heart is all we show
do we know where we began:
the source of pain
the source of pleasure
the source of all you feel
the source its Self beyond your measure
the One who turns the reel
projections are neglections
that the source of light corrects
and when you live as that light
here's the truth that you reflect:
there is no image or scripted verse
that expresses this pure essence
but as you walk through life
it reveals its Self through lessons
you pass them now or not at all
(and often pass through failure)
a lesson learned is a lesson passed
and a lesson passed is learned
so as you answer the absolutes call
you see your tower burned
for towers fall and kingdoms collapse
and all ambitions fail
because in the end all are traps
where only you prevail
not the you you watch grow old
and know will some day die
but the You you feel unfold
and see through your 3rd eye
not the you you see and touch
but the One who dwells within
the one who's there in all you meet
the one who knows no sin
For I speak now of what's eternal
not fleeting with the times
and when you open up to it
you'll overstand these rhymes
tone aren’t here to praise alone
or worship some false center
but here to emanate from Om
from that kingdom we may enter
to leave the known behind
relinquished at the door
and feel your heart and mind aligned
breathing like the shore
across that white sand beach
the soul knows all to well
and when we know it can't be reached
we'll know just why we fell
to attempt to reach where you are already
surely must be hell
the hole in you is the hole in me
and together we are whole
and as we open to each other
we find a single soul
whose will is one
who knows the way
whose been at it for awhile
and as certain as her steps may be
she takes them all with style
all paths lead to this mountain top
this vantage point beyond
and as you gently climb to it
revealed is the dawn
a dawn so bright you'd swear to it
you've seen no dawn before
as something so familiar sets
some core that you adore
a door opens inside you now
it shows you now and here
as vibrant as the newborn day
and moon light makes it clear
that contrasts work as one
to show you that their You
and as you look inside your Self
You may tell you that that's true
the context tends to assume
the notion of 2 selves
but you know better, don't you now
then all the books on shelves
you look between the words
to see the white page underneath
and though people travel in their herds
insight pierces through that sheath
and as you share that insight
you feel that clarity grow
and when you tell the world of it
you watch the words just flow
you know you can describe it
in a million different ways
but the words you use
are the words your taught
and to them were not the slaves
as the truth they point to stays
the light you are grows with death
so death you do not know
your a centaur on a mountain top
bending back your bow
letting the arrow strike the sun
you know you've struck the point
and as you bow your head to grace
it's You who You anoint
drowned and crowned embracing the depth
of the deepest ocean
living in pain You suffer not
for you bring love to all emotion
alchemy is your life
and so becomes your truth
and through your joy
you hold no strife
forever in your youth
young at heart and old in mind
your pleasure now your pain
and so i walk the middle path
with nothing to obtain
empty steps pace toward goals
with not a single expectation
and as you lose so you gain
hence all is consecration

I take life as it comes
for there's no more I'd rather be
then one of Gods true sons
but God has but a single Sun
and You know he shines so bright

yet when we believe in what we don't understand
our inner lights faint

subservient to authority

whether our teachers, our preachers,
our fathers or mothers
molding our thoughts
by impressing our mind
lost in isolation,
defined and confined
claiming Gods will
to be found in imitation
our understanding lost
in ideas of limitation
while our ideas of freedom
are still ideas none the less
here I stand in the midst
impressed like the rest
asking for answers
from some where unseen
unwilling to see past
my devotion to a dream
as the temples we build
collapse from within
rebuilding each one
with whats already been
sculpted by the classes
taught by the masses
educating ourselves
with prescribed mind control
feeding us well
yet starving our soul
self administering the opiate
we so willingly injecpt
projecting commandments
to become more adept
our whole life on this planet
we tend to spend sleeping
planting our harvest
while simultaneously reaping
racing through days
taking positions
upholding opposites
through oppositions
whether laughing or weeping
its separation anxiety
while we strive through our judgments
which we claim to be piety
can we see past the shadows
we ourselves project
can we think for ourselves
and no longer neglect
the truth that resides
within our own hearts
can we understand truth
without all these charts
can we turn then within
without being prompted
and so raise up our kin
to leave them unhaunted
by the fearful spell cast
by organized religion
to be an example of life lived
without superstition
do we need to be told
all about cosmic Law
can’t we see its within
and admit there’s no wall
one can see cycles plainly
if one confirm there’s no veil
you yourself are the ship
why not pitch your own sail
and know that
the subconcsious reasonings
always deductive
so all attempts at rebellion
are counter productive
yet if you open your eye
to the light you seek
then the fight against dogma
becomes obsolete
its one thing to believe
yet quite another to understand
if you understand this
then these words are like sand
sifting through fingers
that hold onto none
your awake and aware
and bright like the sun
can we recognize wholeness
beyond a congregation
and so love then our neighbor
as Gods own emanation
can we stop crucifying
ourselves and these neighbors
and so live in the light
through all of our labors
do we need a guide
to tell us what’s right
can we not look directly
and use inner sight
I think that we can
and I believe we just might
if we stop looking elsewhere
for what we ourselves can ignite
and keep our eyes and hearts open
ever more wide
while we express more deeply
what light can provide
for attention is here
for all those who will it
and our cups they are full
for all who would fill it
fill it yourself
or someone else will
if your water’s outdated
let it all spill
and be filled with a new
and fresh understanding
through your own research
and dignified standing
and know reliance on science
breeds only a skill
and a skill needs application
through harmonized will
to lift up the fire
to its rightful abode
if you would desipher the truth
in a misunderstood code
a scientists character
depends not on knowledge
or their articulation
cultivated in collage
if you have eyes that can read
you needn’t read long
for all of these books
sing but the same song

know nothing of time
they see not your past

for the idea of wholeness
has not a place
when the competition has ended
and you see no races or race
for ideas can masquerade
as substitutes for being
as eyes can pretend
their the only thing seeing
these are channels not currents
and to be taken as such
yet without using reason
you won't realize much
yet the best reason can do
is see its own limits
recognize your own lies
and all your own gimmicks
for keeping you from
simply being your self
while finding your solace
in books from the shelf
look past the words
organized in their tactics
and overstep all
these mental gymnastics
to see the simplicity
of the here and the now
for in the lightness of being
there’s no need for a how
if what you desire is yours
what would you desire
would you open all doors
and endure the fire
there’s nothing to gain
in what’s always already
there is not a jungle
so put down your machete
you needn’t accept or reject
these words which I speak
when I tell you in truth
there’s no thing to seek
find out for yourself
if this be a fact
for there’s no sound advice
from an ego intact
unless it has seen
its own insane struggle
and stepped out of the way
for a soul that’s unsubtle
but who can tell that
unless they’ve done the same
and seen for themselves,
that the path is the aim.
if you seek then the kingdom
for its own sake
then seeking is finding
and your already awake
