One fine example of such an event is the C14 Wake Brunch! A limited-seating event of 175 persons at the Tampa Bay Brewing Company (
www.tampabaybrewingcompany.com), you will be able to mark the passing of Convergence with your fellow mourners appropriately and in comfort with high-quality adult beverages, a selection of excellent comestibles, and a special brew made just for C14. For $25, you can fill the void left by Convergence's demise with an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Grief was never so delicious. Tissues will be available at the door.
Another event to mark down is the Pub & Cigar Tour of Ybor City! Join host Angelsil on this walking tour of historic Ybor City with stops at popular bars and cigar bars. Learn how Ybor was built and what life was like during its cigar heyday. We will be visiting 3 bars and 2 cigar shops along the way for refreshment. The bars will be first to allow non-smokers to depart before things get stinky. Drinks and cigars are not included in the nominal $10 ticket fee. The meet-up point will be Tampa Bay Brewing Company (bar #1). Dress appropriately for walking in August. Space is limited to 35 people!

Looking for some exposure? Do you want your music to be heard by those you know will appreciate it? Look no further; your band can be featured at Convergence 14! The Convergence 14 Committee is still accepting band submissions from all comers. We're looking for quality musical acts for evening venues over the weekend of Convergence 14. Whether you have an established fan base or are new talent looking for an opening, we are interested in hearing from you and getting you onboard.
You should be aware that this year's Convergence will not be a gothapalooza. As such, we have a very limited number of band slots to fill. All we need to consider your band for Convergence 14 is the demo CD of your music and the standard rider for your performance. If you have a press kit, please send one - we would love to see it! If you have played at Convergence previously, let us know when and where. We are happy to consider repeat performances from bands we all know and love.
