Yep. It's that time of year. For some folks the creative burst happens in the Spring when the trees a blooming and the birds are chirping. For me it usually ahppens when I'm too busy to listen - like right before the holidays! So I listened to Mina and went tohave a photo shoot done with her, and my my. He made us look so pretty!!!

I just have to say that Michael Baxter is one of the sweetest, most patient, inspiring men I have ever met! He and Mina really walked this novice through her first photo shoot and made me want to go back for more!

Yep. Found the *perfect* house! So we bought it...
Four bedrooms, two baths, over 1500 square feet. Not too big -not too small. The daughter will move out in a few years - then it will feel too big I suppose. Nice neighborhood too.

30 day escrow started yesterday, so we may not be going to Beltane...

So in looking for a house, the possibility of a garage conversion to dance studio is of the utmost importance. We found one. Lovely, in our price range - built in 1957. Solid as a rock, old wiring, old windows... 7 year old - 30 year roof... Oh yea - wall heater and evaporative cooler. The evaporative cooler worries me with the persian rug...

Went looking at houses yesterday. We found a real cute one with a two car garage that would easily convert to a dance studio - but Johnny didn;t like the amount of concrete in the back yard. It would be lovely if done correctly, and the astro turf on the front porch would have to go! I swear they were trying to make it look like a mobile home...

Justification

Looking for a bit of happiness, perhaps?… the reason I turn to the internet so often during my work day.
I see some co-workers snacking on cookies or chips and it seems to make them happier and also… fatter.
After stressing out on how to get this or that authorized or appealed to the government – I suppose it isn’t too bad of me to relax my brain frequently with trivial stuff like dancing, SCA, and fantasies of vacationing alone.

Yeah! Judith's Head this weekend! I'm super stoked that we are moving forward with this. I'm hopeing to see vast improvements in our unity in movement ; ) I'll see all those (you) gals around 4:00 on Saturday. Devin has guard championships Saturday morning... Plan to dance till we drop!

Yeah and stuff...

So the Throwdown was hot. I had a good time and bought a lot of sparkely makeup ; )

I participated in the dance off and won out over the
"Pirate" bellydancer - Samantha somebody or other.... So if I beat her does that mean I can be the capitan of the Judith's Head show??? He hee...
