I'm always interested in traveling, and learning more about my friends, new bands, and all the hiking trails through the Santa Barbara back country. Thankfully, my hubby is an outgoing Geologist / music lover with a knack for exploring. I'm a Santa Barbara resident for 3 years now. (It's a bit far from the snowy mountains and has yet to disappoint) My favorite new band is The Decemberists. Closely followed by Apples in Stereo and Zero 7. I strongly support ALO in their creative musical ventures. Global warming is a serious concern.

As of Lately...
Seriously. Although I may be obsessed with getting to the mountains (to ride), nothing quite satisfies and inspires like a full day amongst the pine trees in the Santa Barbara mountains while peering down to the pacific. Brian and I spent this glorious sunny day after the rain, doing just that. We geocached, hiked, walked the labyrinth at the monestary, shared a picinic, took in the smell of those beautiful pine trees and watched the sun drop majestically behind the coastline. Love, love, loved it.
