There is an event called the City of Hope's Underwear Affair 10k Run/5K Walk. It is a race that you do in your underwear to raise money and awarenes for cancers "below the waist" (prostate, uterine, cervical.......). It has food, dancing and lots of people running throught the streets in their underwear! There is a Team Category (hello.....RLD....). The run is 10 km (6.2 mi) and the walk is 5 km (3.1 mi). So if you can't do one you can definately do the other. You only have to raise $300 and the entry fee is only $25. This is much less than most events. All you need is a few family members and friends to donate 40 dollars each and you are home free.
