about me
I started to learn Egyptian Bellydance in June 2003 and loved it from the word go. Then in 2006 I became interested in American Tribal Style through the internet, DVD's, word of mouth. There is very little Tribal style in the UK, none in Norfolk where I live. So I got together with 4 other like minded friends and we formed our own Tribal group in Sept 06. We are called Eceni after an ancient tribe who lived in Norfolk from 27 AD led their Queen Boudica.

What a fantastic event! First of all a yoga workshop followed by a whole afternoon workshop with Storm Tree.. This all took place at the UEA Sports Centre in a dance studio overlooking the park. Then a quick dash home to grab a bite to eat and get changed for the evening event aptly named East of Egypt as we are in the East of England and the event was all about Egyptian styles of dance (I include tribal in this as it evolved from Egyptian dance).
