What I say to myself

Transformus 07

I've been delaying my blog on Transformus for a while. During the first two procrastination days I had an excuse: my brain was jello. But now I search for words to convey the meaning of my incredible experience. I have only this:

It was awesome.

Ignore, for a second, the jaded status of that phrase, and consider that I actually mean it. The joy of arrival is proportional to the struggle to reach it.

The Firey Bitches rolled up in mass, in style, and with many gifts. The bus had some problems, but seeing how we're invincible, it only cost a few hours and we made the best of it. The maze was difficult to get up, but seeing how we're invincible, it only cost us a few hours, and we made the best of it. People dug it. We rocked. WACK radio, our neighbors, had the best mix of music *ever*, even in the mornings. As if it were christmas or something, I received a special present that was exactly what I wanted, only better, over and over again, it seemed that the universe had aligned and the pieces fell together in a way that made sense. Lara and Drew's wedding was fantastic. As I had planned, I promised to be there for them in the hard times. I feel a bit married myself now, that being my vow.
And then, as the dew of evening disappeared, it was over, and now I am somewhere else.

But I have these photos to remind me:

I love this blog post Eric. It made me weepy, it was so beautiful. You are a talented writer and also an excellent "noticer" (which is what shapes the very best writers in my humble opinion). You are also an excellent photographer. I love all your photos and your fire photos are some of the best I've ever seen. There is a whole Tribe dedicated to fire photos and yours are better than most of the photos posted there. I also enjoyed seeing the world through your eyes. Again, a good "noticer". This whole blog post was just a lovely experience. Thanks for taking me there. Yes, this Transformus was the most special ever and you did a great job of capturing that ... in a whole variety of ways.

Love and light to you my friend,
Caroleeena
