My Blog

We continually evolve, or so we hope. Self-reflection and improvement are constants, or at least that is how we grow. I have been lead back to my path. I think I took a detour for a while, darn that ego... It is so misleading. Even through the yoga, the ego can creep. The breath is what is real--when the mind is still we can connect with source. Letting go often leads you to exactly where you want to be. How is that? It can take so long to let go. . . of the material "things," thoughts or otherwise, but then here it is--presenting itself once again. Making peace with pain. Is that in fact what removes the pain? When I went to San Francisco, I set out to become a yoga instructor. What I gained was so much more. I continue to grow and am ever so grateful for the awareness that I continue to gain. I am not sure that I expected the changes to happen immediately, but I did not anticipate that moment by moment, even after my return to Chicago, that things would continue to fall into place.
