I am starting my final seven weeks of school. My clinical rotation is at San Francisco General Hospital on a Medical Surgical Unit. I have only been there two days, but already I love it.

This process of becoming a nurse has been so rewarding. And so fear invoking! I spend so much of my time, wondering do I know enough, can I help this person, will I ever be good at this?

It is the infection season. People's immune systems become weaker from improper nutrition, lack of exercise, and overuse due to being baraged by a number of bacterias and viruses all at once. The best defense we have against these infections and illnesses is hygiene. Yep, wash your hands!!! Wash away those little buggers.
