Today I was at my desk and triumphantly doing my wookee roar, which I do oh so well after solving a system issue that was giving me hives for the past few days. I get email from a user who is in dire need of an upgraded PC and requested me to get her a writing tablet and stylus for her. She’s a nice fun gal but in the middle of one of my most triumphant wookee roars I get an email with a single word, and the chain of conversations begins.


Me: <Wookee roars at my desk>
Email from User: LOSER!!
My response: Oh an attitude like that will NOT get you a new PC! Now go and write a 5 page paper titled "Why I love Han Solo".
User: GIVE ME MY COMPUTER PC NERD!
Me: USER! A computer IS a pc!
User: THE CLOCK IS TICKING …No tablet…no computer…
Me: And no 5 page paper on why you Luv Luv Han Solo!

I’ll get her updated system tomorrow and her tablet is on back order.
