Well today the PICC line was removed. So for the first time in months I don't have a machine or lines connected to me. This makes me happy and at the same time apprehensive as I'm not completely healed yet. So we will see how this all goes. Hopefully well.

Well I saw the doctor yesterday. He wants me to be on the WoundVac for 2 more weeks...I thought I saw the light at the end of the tunnel, unfortunately the tunnel was longer than I realized...But since doing the old fashioned way would take twice as long I guess I can put up with it. The doctor said everything is looking good, just not quite there yet.

So at 2AM the stupid WoundVac broke...
and made a loud beeeeeeeeep! Then is went quiet for a second and then it started pumping making it's noise. So I get up, check the line, check for leaks, replace the canister and no change. So I call the company and the tech has me perform a couple of tests and check the seals but the noise persist so the give me a service number and tell me that a tech in my area will call me with a time when he can get here. Then where I’m at is great unless all my friends and family leave, In which case I guess I have to figure out where I can be aound them the most.
