Jana taught me the true meaning of 'eye contact'. This lady exudes an aura that at once will inspire a whirlwind of kinetic jubilation, and simultaneously still chaos to a mere murmur. I miss having her in my everyday life, yet take comfort in the fact that she simply exists, spreading her love like wildfire to all that she graces.

Eight years ago, Californians voted 61% to define marriage as being only between a man and a woman.
This time it was only 52%.
So on the bright side, we are making headway - That is positive change and plenty of reason to not give up hope!

i went to a workshop last week on emergency preparedness and was happy to receive
a shopping list for emergency food supplies.
this list will feed four adults for seven days
(in a reasonably balanced...getting all your basic needs...in a canned food sort of way)
(specific foods determined by preference)

Planet chai is providing the chai again this year to the center camp cafe at BM. We are seeking a pilot car to accompany the delivery truck.
The basic info:
We leave the morning of Friday August 22nd.
The truck you are leading is a 24ft diesel - big!
We've got truck drivers covered, we just need you and your reliable car to hang with us.
The pilot car leads the truck on the trek, and is there in case of breakdown or mishap (not likely, but just in case).
