What a life!

Ecstatic Dance - How do you get there?
I dance free and wild at times, dance frees me up and opens me like a landscape in the desert.
I practice with the 5 Rhythms and Contact dance and found I could fly at the age of 32 on a dance floor in Puna - dancing with the master.
My original apprenticeship was on the Acid House floors of London; The Fridge, Megatripolis, Return to the source, back in 1989 -'90. An occasional whisky, perhaps an E, but more consistantly the beat, the floor and the dance itself. DJ, bass, space to move thi... read more

5 Rhythms Teacher Training
In October 2007 I am starting a year long training with Gabrielle Roth to become an accredited 5 Rhythms teacher.
It seems like a long journey of 7 years to get to this place, yet it has been a rich and life changing series of events also.

Space and beauty.
Ocean, mountains, trees and sky, Pacific edge, Canada.
Eagle, Whale, Seal, Otter, Raven. Jamus, Tanis, Neil.
Nature opens wide all around, the stillness highlights my inner turmoil, gentles my soul and simplifies me.
Wave upon wave, tides ebb and flow, life streaches out before and behind me.
I am measured by this moment.

Just returned from Burning Man and Dancing in the Desert - Sept 2007
Wow.
What an adventure...
California living and live wired counter culture folk in the Nevada Desert.
An amazing collective in Black Rock City - 50,000 gathered to play on the playa - wind ripped and soul exposing storms of colour and creative energy, wild and wonderful playmates with gifts brimming with delight and magic through day and night.
Surviving in self relient companionship to share the gifts of earth, fire, water and air.
7 days of wide eyed wonder...

Think Eight, think enthusiasm, forests, nyphms, nuture, passion, musicology, travel.
Eight met me on my return to Blighty with his infinite Spirit, his deep-felt wisdom and freedom of Spirit and helped me feel right at home.
A kitchen with the right teabags, incense and listening, he has often provided just what I need just when I needed it, even down to a gorgeous sheepskin for my new baby to romp on, oh yes and a bloody good argument when stuff needs to move :) So we learnt to listen better and admit our quivering truths...
The world needs Eight, although his passion and freedom of Spirit may scare some folk silly!
I am glad to live in these times when such lovely wildness is at play here.
Gawd bless you my dear infinite friend!
