It's been ages since I've been on tribe. Quite a bit has happened. Too much to post here right now. But suffice it to say, we've all got some catching up to do. Unfortunately, I've had some serious computer problems that have limited my online time severely the past few months. Plus, work has kept me busy enough that I can *maybe* steal a few minutes during lunch. I can sometimes use my roommate's computer. But I try to keep that to a minimum (trying to avoid t... read more

I'm moving back to Chicago! I've accepted a job offer that's due to start May 10th. It's not exactly my dream job. But it could be good. The picture is one I took on Sunday of an absolutely perfect day at Chicago's Navy Pier. THE BAD Driving back to Lexington on Monday proved to be very challenging. I had a lot of trouble staying awake. Thought about going to a rest stop to sleep for a bit, but didn't want to get too far behind schedule. Decided to stop for lunch to help ... read more
Here's proof how misleading age is. Don't know how the hell I got to be old. In my head, I'm still 25. Where has the time gone? I've no friggin' clue. I've been told many, many times that I look very young for my age. Whether or not it's true is practically irrelevant. A friend of mine insists that I should lie about my age. But I just don't see the point. Anyway, I feel a little validated with the results of this quiz.

Who gives something like this? This is just bizarre. I appreciate a good gag gift as much as anyone else, if not more. But do you really want to give your honey a message like this? I can *almost* see something like this in Kentucky. But I came across this in Chicago.

So who's birthday is on the 4th, 13th, 22nd, or 31st of the month? Any month, I suppose. According to this quiz, we're very compatible. Of course, this quiz also suggests that you'll only end up breaking my heart. So on second thought, keep away. ; ) Yeah, it's all just for fun. Can't take something like this too seriously. Afterall, these were the same people who said my French name would be Ursanne Tremblay. Thing is, my friggin' name (Renee) is already French. duh! Anyway, here a...

After much resistance, I finally created a myspace page in October. Tribe is great, so I just didn't see the need for myspace. Plus, all the stories I've heard about myspace have been far from favorable... until one friend told me that she had regular IM contact with a certain band member (to remain unnamed). She got to meet him & um, get to know him a bit more. Not exactly looking for an experience like that myself. But to have any kind of contact with a band member I like? Yeah, I sig...

So the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced this year's inductees today — and as usual, they've made some truly bizarre decisions. The lucky artists are Madonna, Leonard Cohen, John Mellencamp, the Dave Clark Five, and the Ventures. Now,...

Okay, full disclosure: I've never seen the Broadway show, the one that's taken over Cats' "now and forever" spot at the Winter Garden Theater. I've barely listened to any ABBA; enough to recognize some of the songs — since I...
