I have never shopped any before, I am told that shipping can be a bit pricey so you may just ask around if there are hoopers in your town who make hoops. Welcome, Hooping is a wonderful thing.

Learning language with teenagers

I teach English to high school students with limited English proficiency.
They are proficient in Spanish and I am not.
So, with limited Spanish and lots of pantomime I communicate with them.
I work hard at learning their language as I expect them to work hard at learning mine.
I make mistakes, sometimes and I tell them that learning language is hard and that mistakes happen when you learn language.

Work

I walked into the faculty restroom today just in time to find one of my fellow English teachers vomiting with tears streaming down her face. It is her first year at our school. I wiped the black mascara streaks from her cheeks and told her, "Welcome aboard!"
