To burn or not to burn?

For the first time in many years, I'm thinking about going to Burning Man again. I understand that it is a very different even from the one that I left in 2002. I understand that this year's theme is so awful that it has to be a joke. I understand that there are rules and cops and all of the old-timers complain that it just isn't the way it used to be. I understand all of these things and I don't care. I have time off, a little bit of money, an opportunity to perform, some projects to work on, and a desire to see some new art.

So...umm...who is going? What's worth seeing? What's worth getting involved in?

I leave them the curse of the dying;
I leave them their own fetid crowd;
I leave them the voices at midnight;
I leave them the hope of a shroud;
I leave them the groans of the fallen;
I leave them the culture of swine...
All these but another -- bear witness, good brother --
I leave them the fate that was mine.

For those of you who have run up to me and expressed an interest in learning trapeze, tissu, or Spanish Web, the fabulous Emily Park has aerial classes available at: http://www.hohgymnastics.com/pages/page.php?pageid=20. Emily's classes are rigorous and conditioning-oriented and I highly recommend them for people who want to have a strong grasp of the fundamentals before they move on to transitions and choreography. She will kick your ass.

WANTED: Seamstress

I need a seamstress for a couple of projects that are well above my skill level. One is a leather corset that needs repair and another is a leather trenchcoat that needs to be lined and repaired. I am a sad, sad creature without my pretty clothes. Help!
