The Ethel Merman Experience
(blog entry)
The Ethel Merman Experience is one of the best drag rock+roll bands since Dead Marilyn. I do have to say Dead Marilyn, from like 1989 did do their own material and they whrer a little on the punk side. It would be nice if EME would do a few songs...

about me
I'm an award winning Graphic Artist and Creative Photographer. I like meeting people on the streets, the everyday people, the people that make this City what it is. I try to be a very simple person but i'm actually very complicated. My mind and my thinking goes way out beyond this universe. I would really like to meet you. Please just say "hi" to me anytime i'm a very down to earth person in some some ways...i do not judge you by the way you look or by your age, race, sex etc. i like all people. Please try to get to know me. You can view my website, if you like at www.davidkbruner.com
Well everybody, sorry it's has taken me so long to write this. I was very...well a bit surprised. It was a Thursday afternoon in early March. I was just getting home and the phone was ringing, i grabbed it just before it went to voicemail. It was a guy with a nice voice asking if this was David. Yeah this is David! He told me he was calling for Milk Productions. He ask if i was available for a shoot next week and i said yes. This was for a paying part! He asked if my hair was still a little l...

It was a casting call and i had planned on going to the one a month before because that was more my age group. This one was for people much younger. I was with a friend and we just went. They processed me, took a few photos of me, asked me a bunch of questions and sent me through. We hung around for a while (my friend Daniel just happens to know the photographer they are working with who also knew and...

With people like Bush confusing people everyway they can we have to stop and think. Are the Mexicans evil and trying to take over the country? Hell no! Are the gays going to be the demise of marriage as we once knew it? Hell no again. The conservative are taking care of that. I mean, ok if people don't want gays getting married then once the conservatives get married then by law they should have to stay married. Hmmm, what do you think about that one? Well, Lara Bush (the woman that never s...

David K Bruner, Photographer in the Mission District of San Francisco, specializes in portraits that are unique, creative, and personalized to each individual. David also does books / portfolios for models and actors, promos, headshots, and internet photos, shooting both digital and film, black and white and color. David has been photographing people since he was a teenager. Around 1987, he started working as a freelance professional photographer. Later he worked for a modeling agency in Chicago for about 10 years.
He has a degree in commercial art and won two Addy awards while he was in the advertising industry. David spends time with each person to bring out their personality in film with his own unique style. David is no photo factory. He dedicates a substantial amount of time before each shoot, getting to know the individual and how they want to look. He even does some make up, and assists clients on wardrobe selection and hair. David is always looking for interesting people to shoot - people with unique and original tattoos, shaved heads and androgynous looks but he has the creative ability to make anyone look their best." Quote from Gorgeous Magazine August / September 2005 Issue. David is available for shoots by appointment only. You will be suprised how much fun a shoot with David can be in addition to being affordable and confidential. For an appointment, free consultation or to buy any prints, contact David at 415.861.3734 - Denny , posted 04/03/08
