Well since it looks like I will actually have some students there will be a drum class at Gnosis studio in Omaha starting June the 2nd. Mondays from 8-9 pm and the cost is $15 per person per class.

Well the first 6 week class is over! Wow, it was fun. :) I think the Benu dancers should be proud... they are now even more multi-talented! It was great to see them playing all the rhythms they learned. Especially since a few swore they could not play the drum when we started. :) My lone advanced student made strides too. That was cool for me.

Man, it has been a busy time. I was promoted at work. I bought a new car. I am teaching drum lessons at 2 different studios in 2 different cities and I started taking a karate class again. Ack!

Oh yeah.. the band has started up again too. We played our first gig of the year at Micky Finn's in Omaha. It went great. I even had a guy come up to me and tell me how good I was. Ego boo!!! Wow, what a weekend! This was the first time I was able to take more than just drum classes so I was there everyday. :) The drum classes were great. I left the first one feeling like I didn't know anything... but then the advanced class made me feel a bit more confident. Jas is a good teacher. We could have used at least another half hour (or more) to get into some rhythms. I am going to steal his visual aid for my class. :
