Hi Alex: A great opportunity has fallen into my lap. Kajira, author of the Tribal Bible, is coming to my studio Sept. 18, 19, 20th to certify teachers to teach American Tribal Style Belly Dance. The workshop will take place at Yoga, Etc, 522 Nebraska Street, Sioux City, Iowa for five hours per day for three days for $460.00. We need five more people by July 9th. I had a great time. The shows were wonderful and the lunch was yummy! The drum classes went well. I heard we received good feedback. I even sold some cd's. :) Jason and I had a good time playing in the show. Those Benu girls sure know how to express attitude! The crowd seemed to really enjoy it.

Yes, I have bowed to the masses and created a Facebook page. However mine is devoted to drumming for Bellydancers! I have pictures of people I have drummed with or for. I would love to have more pictures... hint hint.

Everybody needs to know about little 7-year-old Yang Peiyi, the true voice of the Olympics. I hope her picture makes it around the world many times so she gets the recognition she deserves. Oh yeah, she is cute. Just not "perfect". Whatever.
