last night, i feasted my eyes on one of the most beautiful sunsets i've ever seen. the sky was overcast and the glowing disk was altogether masked by the clouds. slowly, the sky became illuminated by cotton candy pink light. in about eight minutes, the color of the sky went from pink to tangerine orange to some wild hue in between red and fuschia. the layer of mist blanketing the ocean also took on the colors. truly stunning. as we had all been preparing our dinner, i took a few minutes... read more
