I live in the IE, hopefully in a different place soon. I perform at the Renaissance Pleasure Fare in Southern California during the spring. I play one of the 2 Spaniards; Don Diego Hurtado de Mendoza. I've been doing this stuff for a long time, and have met a lot of great people over the years (and some fucked up ones too). I am one of the few who practice WMA (Western Martial Arts) in Southern California. Don't think for a second that all the sword play you see is fake/choreographed because I have the scars to prove otherwise. What I do out there is extremely fun, and hazardous. I've been studying the art for about 7 years at this point. I enjoy the theatre and acting. There is a lot to me even though most people just look at me like I'm strange and I've been labeled more than once as that goth guy (which I'm really not). I played baseball for 12 years until life caught up with me. The last season of ball I played was at UC Riverside in their first year of Division I eligibility. Baseball took me all over the country, helped me make a lot of different friends, it payed for a good portion of my school and it gave me wonderful memories, I wouldn't trade those years for anything. I've snowboarded for about 5 years, and can handle myself pretty well up there. I currently work at EPSON America(the printer company) in Long Beach and I can't complain about it too much, it pays the bills.
