Now the rain falls. Soon the green leaves will join my eyes to the wonders of a living world. I can still imagine snow and ice. The air is sweet and heavy, but it could snow again. The Harvest of the Soul

I wonder if this time spent on all the various projects will yeild any fruit. As I contemplate this I am reminded of the tomatos ripening in my back yard, and the plants that are flowering their last. The nights are cooler as the days shorten, and the mosquitos will soon be gone. What deeds wrought made goodness for I in all. Naked trees yet seen tomorrow I recall. This day in waiting for another chance to start again; in memory of then I was last fall.

the new year is here

Get out the living and have in life this adventurous ride around the warmer side of the sun.
The light is almost as equal to the dark in time with a rythm beyond memory.
Soon we can sow the fields.
Soon we can wear no clothes but sweat.
Soon we can sleep outside at night without a tabernacle.
Soon we can get bitten by bugs.
Soon we can work later and have day.
Soon we can go to the beaches.
Soon we can find poison ivy.
Soon we can cook taters in the fire.
Yet now I wait and plan.
