I am a down-to-earth 38 year old who recently graduated from Portland State University's School of Business. I don't take the smell of a rose for granted. I am a big fan of bear hugs. I am an occasional drinker of red wine (pinot noir or merlot) and my clothes don't smell of American Spirits or Camels (Not a smoker). I love the coast, whether it be the coast I grew up with in California, or the Oregon Coast. I have traveled through Europe and, money and time willing, plan on returning there someday. I weigh in at 160 give or take a couple of Krispy Kremes. I am just an average looking guy. I also have a visual impairment known as RP (Retinities Pigmentosa for those Google and Scrabble fans). As a result, I am night blind and cannot drive, day or night. It limits my peripheral vision as well. It makes finding work and attracting the opposite sex more daunting but, as my parents and friends can attest to, I am one of the most persevering people they know. I am not looking for someone to support me; I just want someone to care about me as I would them. So, if you don't mind being a chauffeur on our dates and holding my arm at night, then I will treat you like a princess. I am one who truly believes that people have peace of mind when they feel that they are needed by someone. In my humble opinion, you can need someone without being clingy. When you can't stop thinking about someone while at work and spend hours planning that perfect surprise--whether it be an extravagant dinner, a night of dancing, a concert, or writing her name in the sky--then you have something enduring.
