I met Rhonda when she was 16 years old. I noticed she was a little different, so of course I liked her. Over the past few years I have enjoyed running into her here, there and over at the Cow Palace. When I stumped her father with a little creative maneuvering during a human tic-tac-toe game, it was fun to see her become giggly. I have to say, it honestly makes me smile when our paths cross.

Rhonda is an amazing woman. She is a wonderful person to be around and talk with. I hope to see much more of Rhonda is the future.

Anyone fortunate enough to dance with Rhonda will discover that she has the amazing ability to make you feel as if she and you are the only two people on the floor.
She's an excellent dancer: a great back-lead (if needed), graceful when navigating crowded patches and an excellent conversationalist.
about me
I graduated (undergrad) UCLA in summer 2006. Got Phi Beta Kappa (Hurray!). Now I'm pursuing filmmaking. I made my first short film in 2007, but have lots more to do. I also have made it my life's mission to get a little better every day. I love to read history and literature and aspire to do more traveling within the year. I love life. I'm driven and like to get things done. Can't say exactly what 2008 will bring, but look forward to the adventures ahead.

I'm here!
(blog entry)
It was a crazy weekend, but I'm now up in the Bay Area, and my stuff is in storage. Now begins the glorious job hunt. I intend to make it to as many dance and re-enactment events as possible, now that I'm here. Yipeee!
I'm Comming Home!
(blog entry)
After agonizing for the past three years, I've decided once and for all that I'm going to return to the Bay Area! I am returning to the Bay Area within the next three weeks. Right now in LA I'm tying up loose ends; getting rid of my apartment, wra...

Movies this Year - What's so great about "Atonement"?
(blog entry)
Every year I try to keep abreast of the Oscars. This year my number one questions is: What's so great about "Atonement"? Why is that film being paraded by critics as so particularly outstanding? When I saw the trailer I rolled my eyes. I just knew...

Currently, my commute is 2hr/one way from Antioch, where I've been staying with my parents. I just barely started looking, but I thought I would ask fair, Peers, and Dickens folk first if anyone knows anyone who might be interested in subletting either a room or part of a room. I don't want to lease an apartment.

Right now in LA I'm tying up loose ends; getting rid of my apartment, wrapping up my work, and packing. I'm very excited to come back. I really am happy up in the Bay Area and now I'll get to do lots more Renn fairs, Friday Night Waltzes, picnics, etc., that I always have to miss because I'm so far away!
I have decided...

Every year I try to keep abreast of the Oscars. This year my number one questions is: What's so great about "Atonement"? Why is that film being paraded by critics as so particularly outstanding? When I saw the trailer I rolled my eyes. I just knew this film had been made for the explicit purpose of gleaning Oscar nods. It simply oozed of pretension. And the look and story have been done many times before in better WWII pieces such as "Private Ryan" and "The English Patient." The premise was g...

As I've said before, 2007 was a tough year but productive. When 11:59pm rolled around on Dec. 31, a meloncholy mood of angst washed over me. "OMG!" I dispaired, "I've done so much this year! How will 2008 compare? Surely it will have more challenges. Surely it will be rife with difficulties." But then I told myself - at around 12:03am - "Don't worry. You'll figure out how to make things keep working out. Challenges will come, but you'll face them. And if 2007 was a year of growth, think how m...
