Ow.
Sat, July 26, 2008 - 11:07 AMI am sore and have some bruising and whiplash, but walked away without a scratch. Even though the glass from the passenger side door was all over me and in my shoes, no scratches or cuts.
My little Prius is gone. The truck made an 8 foot impact.
I'm shaken up and car-less, but doing ok.

that sucks about your car but the good thing is your not seriously injured. Take care of your self and let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Wow, please take good care of yourself in the aftermath . . . some good anti-inflammatories might be in order. Did you get checked out by the pros just in case?

Thanks. :) Oh, and I meant to say 8 inch impact, not 8 feet.
Because I had back and neck pain, I got taken out on a backboard and sent to the ER. They did X-rays which were negative and also a CT scan because of my brain bleed history, also negative. I'm taking ibuprofen and Flexaril, and also have darvocet if I need it. I'm taking it easy, sleeping a lot, and got to soak in Badger's hot tub today. :) Doing better. |

Wow... I'm not sure if I should be congratulating or consoling you. It's really rotten luck that your prius is totalled, but amazing that you weren't hurt worse in the process.

Still having pretty bad neck and back pain, and having trouble moving my shoulders or lifting anything. I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow and setting an appointment to see my neurosurgeon for my neck this week too. Definitely taking it easy. |
